THE ALTARS OF THE DEITIES
In the Lycian Tradition we make use of an altar setup that is reflective of our "Wheel of the Year." This "altar" is the one which we use for Sabbats and Esbats and has the four tools of the Craft in the quadrants as shown in the first row of the following table; that is the row above the Sun card.
However, when we are doing a particular working, that calls for invoking a particular deity, we use various "altars" each assigned to an individual God or Goddess according to a systematic pattern derived from the relationship of the elements, one to the other and illustrated by the binary numbers. Those altars are listed in the following table and our deities we have equated to the Major Arcana cards of the Tarot deck as follows:
